Make a Dream Trip to the British Open
You have watched the professionals play them on television and now you want to see the historic golf courses of England and Scotland in person. In July, the British Open will be played on the old course at Saint Andrews where it was first played in 1873. If you are thinking about going to the tournament, why not build a golf trip with buddies around your visit so you can test your skills on the course as well. Great golf tours can be customized however you like. Start out in Fife, Scotland to take in some of the British Open and then head out to the countryside to play some of the other historic courses that have also been home to the Open in the past. Royal Troon is a short drive away in Ayrshire and Muirfield one of the oldest courses in the world is close in East Lothian. On the opposite coast of Scotland is Turnberry with stunning views of the ocean from it’s numerous cliffs.
