Is The Apple iPad Actually An Opportunity For Amazon?
There’s a lot of discussion – understandably so given the amount of time we’ve been waiting for it – about the Apple iPad right now. In particular, many people are asking if it will sound the death knell for the amazon kindle or not. The devices are quite different – the Kindle is specialised and the iPad is versatile, at the expense of performance in some areas. As a matter of fact, Amazon may very well be quite happy if the iPad sells well (it certainly will). After all, the Kindle App for the iPod touch will also be available for the iPad. Amazon will have even more opportunities to sell Kindle books.
