Taking a Dental Hygienist For Granted
The other day I was browsing through the phone book looking for a dentist for my husband. He had an accident at work which chipped one of his teeth and we were looking for someone to do an emergency repair. While waiting to speak to one dentist, I started looking for others just in case the one I was on the phone with couldn’t take him. I never realized there were so many dental hygienist schools out there. I’ll have to admit, I never gave much thought to what training these people go through. They are just there or so it seemed. Now I know better as it appears this is a field which requires a great deal of study.
