Traveling is Safer With Prepaid Credit Cards
Several years ago I made the mistake of taking my debit card with me on a trip through Europe. My sister had suggested I have a card, to save money. It was cheaper than exchanging cash. Unfortunately my debit card was lost and used. It took months to sort out all of the charges and fees. The next time I traveled I did some research and found that prepaid credit cards are smarter and safer. I bought a card and loaded it with only the amount I needed for a short period, and set off on my trip. It was easy to add money via the Internet and if the card had been lost, there was never enough on it to create a crises.
