Fashion apparel of the 80s
80s is an era of eclectic music and fashion apparel. This was the years wherein the fashion and arts have mutated into radical changes. During the early years of the 80s fashion style then was more into loose clothing. Loose jeans and tops, layered clothing like shirts with blouses on tops, Boat shoes or Topsiders for men and women, off shoulder blouses for women- those were the fashion styles then. When punk rock music was introduced in the latter part of the decade, a total fashion change came in. People started dressing in a more somber mode. Blacks and reds dominated the scene to express this generation’s rebellious mode. Dark leather tight fit clothing combined with chains as accessories became the trend.
