The glass must be labeled with wire glass above a quarter inches thick or as allowed by the labeling agency. Doors with fusible link louvers are accepted, but only specified louvers should be implemented. Louvers can be furnished in more than one inch thick doors with a one and a half hour or a three quarter-hour. But no louver and glass light combinations are permitted. 24 inch x 24 inch is maximum louver size. In Fire Doors with fire escape equipment or in the stairs, louvers are not allowed.
