Master Your Mind

Your body will never fully respond to your training until you know how to train your mind aswell.  The mind is the source of all of your motivation, and is the core of your strength.  Where your mind goes, your body will follow.  You might have heard this before, but it is the truth, and you can take it to heart. Your mind generates the energy that gets you through a workout.  This energy can be negative, and work against you, if you are not careful.  Your mind is what drives your diet program.

Have a vision.  This is an overlooked aspect of a good goal oriented workout plan.  You have to know what you want, and you have to be able to see it clearly.  When your vision is powerful enough everything will fall into place after it.  Vision is purpose, and it tells us where we are going.

Have good role models.  This goes right along with having a good vision.  Everyone needs to make sure that they are following a good example.  You study your role models, and you learn important things from them as well.  They were not always in the position of role model either.

Motivation is the driving force that gets you to the gym everyday, and that makes sure that you are sticking to your eating plan.  It is the difference between success and failure.  Motivation is what creates discipline and dedication.  It is fitness motivation that gets you through the last set of an exercise when you do not think that you can do it any more.
