Funny Sayings May Not Be Funny at School
My husband was born in the wrong generation. There are so many phrases that he uses in his day to day conversations that nobody else uses any more. Perhaps it came from being raised by his grandparents. Plus they lived in the country, on a small farm, and I guess farmers had odd ways of saying things that were possibly related to crops or farm animals. All I know is that he comes up with some Funny Sayings that he has to explain to me or our children. I’m afraid the kids are going to add them to their vocabulary by accident. When they do, they are going to have a rough time at school.
